NeighborMD raises $2.5M, opening new centers NeighborMD announced today it has raised $2.5 million in funding and will be opening two more urgent care centers in Middle Tennessee.
One new center is a result of NeighorMD’s acquisition of the Green Hills Medical Center from Barry Yarbrough, who has joined the company as chief medical officer.

U of L names executive for Health Sciences Center The University of Louisville has named C. Maurice Snook as the new associate vice president for health affairs finance and administration for its Health Sciences Center.
Snook had been associate dean for finance and administration for the School of Medicine, Medical University of South Carolina , according to a news release.
Snook spent more than 30 years at MUSC. During his tenure, he helped in the design and implementation of a campus-wide financial system.
